Sometimes Europe gets some really cool stuff before we do State-side. A perfect example would be the R2D2 movie projector from ExclusiveStarWars.com. These guys have created a 1:2 scale motorized version of everyone's favorite robot and integrated a multimedia projector, IPod hook-ups, a DVD-CD player, memory card slots, and more. You can go ahead and pre-order yours now for €2799, about $4114.53, not cheap by any means but come on, it comes with a Millennium Falcon remote control.
If you do want one I would hurry and pre-order, they are only going to make 4,000 on the initial run and who knows how much these things will show up on Ebay for.
